Simply the finest actor organization I have ever seen. I have been a guest speaker many times and have found talented actors who have eventually become clients of mine.

This is going to be short and to the point, just like ME! As a newbie to Twitter, I can’t believe how quickly it has changed my life!  I recommend following your target list of production companies, producers, casting directors… on Twitter.  You can glean incredible intel!

True story.  I began following a Director of Talent at a major cable network because I’m up for a show on the net.  2 days after I start following hIm I saw that he’s going out of town for a week.

Good info?  NO!  GREAT info!!!!

See, my agent and I had recently sent him a load of info on me regarding the show he’s casting and we hadn’t heard back… and hadn’t heard back… and STILL hadn’t heard back.  But, as soon as I knew he was going out of town, I was armed with info that he wouldn’t likely be getting to my stuff until his return.

Soooo how did following him on Twitter help me?  It gave me peace of mind (isnt’ that novel!) that I wasn’t out of the running because we hadn’t heard back from him… it was just that he was out of town!  And, sometimes just having that kind of information can make the waiting process a bit more bearable.
